Recycling Assistance will play a larger role within WOOL2LOOP

WOOL2LOOP is the European project that investigates the recycling of mineral insulation material (glass- and stone wool). Since the start of the project, a year ago, Recycling Assistance cooperates by sharing expertise on pre-demolition audits and regulations regarding demolition works.  Also, sampling and characterisation of batches of mineral wool was conducted at several demolition sites in Belgium.

After the withdrawal of one of the partners from the project, Recycling Assistance will now take over several tasks and will play a larger role within WOOL2LOOP. For example, Recycling Assistance will become responsible for delivering the final (internal) report on the guidelines and best practices for the sourcing and pre-treatment of mineral wool coming from demolition sites. For more information and the latest updates about WOOL2LOOP, we refer to the official web page of the project.
